Bag Check

This free service located near the Info Tent is provided to all registered participants. Drop off your bag, stroller, or other belongings you don’t want to carry while walking or cycling. The area is secure and staffed by volunteers throughout the event.

Parking

Onsite parking is free and located at Wesley Clover Parks’ east entrance (closest entrance to Moodie Drive).

Weather Cancellation

RBC Race for the Kids is a rain-or-shine event. However, in the case of extreme weather conditions (lightning, torrential rain, etc.) a notice will be sent by email at 6 a.m. on the event day. In addition, a notice will be sent to all media outlets in the Ottawa area, and posts will be made on social media.

Visit our home page for a cancellation notice if you are unsure if the event will happen or not.

Stay Safe

Please keep dogs on a leash and at the back of the pack. When passing others, please move wide and alert participants. Follow event signage and instructions to ensure a smooth flow along the course.
